Quick Green for Growth tool

Green for growth need not be confined to being a lesson-long reflection tool – it is designed to signpost to students where they have ‘grown their skills or knowledge. This is an excellent way to show them they have made progress – as well as any visitors you may have!

So, any activity which requires students to continually add new ideas, knowledge or discoveries to work during a lesson or sequence of lessons should be done with a green pen.

These photos show a lesson when students brainstormed what they knew at the start of the lesson and then added what they learned as the lesson progressed.
